DNA EXTRACTION
Background
High quality genomic DNA is prepared from a variety of sample types including whole blood, tissues, cell suspensions and chorionic villus samples. The genomic DNA is use for a variety of applications including microarray analysis, MLPA and DNA sequencing.
DNA extractions can also be performed for research groups. Please contact the laboratory to arrange this.
Testing at WRGL
DNA is prepared manually using commercial reagent kits following standard laboratory procedures. Following DNA preparation the quality and quantity of DNA is evaluated using a Nanospectrophotometer.
